Specifications

All beds are produced in my own workshop in Winton. Only the finest materials are used, with timber sourced from managed forests in Scandinavia. All timber used is Redwood Pine  and main joints are mortised for added strength. All double beds have a centre spar from top to bottom with a fifth leg (except DHS) in the middle for extra strength. Slats are made from Spruce for more resilience.

PLEASE NOTE

All beds are supplied in the raw for home finishing and self assembly.

The ends of all our beds all come fully assembled. All you need to do is bolt in the rails and screw the centre rail on doubles, between them, fit the ladder if it has one and then screw down 3 of the slats the rest are taped for simplicity.

Lots of ladies have erected these on their own.

All fittings, an Allen key and easy to follow instructions are included, all you need is a Phillips screwdriver.

I recommend you put a finish on your bed to keep it in good condition and can supply an easy to apply wax. This is probably the simplest way to protect your bed  but you can stain, colour wash, lacquer or varnish to match your decor. If in doubt ask us what we think.

We operate a continual policy of upgrade and improvement on our products, so specification  may occasionally vary slightly but only if we feel it is for the better.  

We can apply a clear wax finish for between £25 and £50.00
